we are

The Whites

here’s our story:

Our story began as high school sweethearts in Virginia. The first time we “saw” each other was at our church youth group.  Andrew was playing basketball in birkenstocks and I (Brittany) still vividly remembers this as one of those moments in time where everything was in “slow motion” as this really cute boy ran across the gym.  Fast forward a few months to when we went on a snowboard trip with church bible study groups.  As I was hanging out in the condo with the rest of my bible study group, my leader mentioned that her two sons were joining us on the trip, but the oldest son was apparently “not being very nice” to his parents.  She asked if someone could jokingly tell her son he was being “the bad child” when he walked in.  I randomly volunteered, of course - only to be in complete shock when the “really cute boy” I saw playing basketball in the gym at youth group turned out to be my bible study leader’s son...Andrew.  It was during that trip where it allllll began. We did the typical teenage flirting - you know, trying to get each other to notice each other but not trying to be obvious. Then Andrew thought he’d really get my attention by kicking my snowboard halfway down the slope into a group of people. Bad child, remember!? Anyways, at the end of the trip, we exchanged AIM screen names (and yes, we still remember them!) which led to us chatting on AIM every day, Andrew asking me to be his valentine, and then officially asking me to be his girlfriend.  We dated the rest of high school, went to each other's school dances and proms, decided on different schools for college, ended up taking a little break, but ultimately ended up back together and and knew from then on, there would never be anyone else. Andrew proposed in December 2018, while visiting home over Christmas after being away for a year living in the middle east. It was hands down the easiest yes of my life! We got married a year later (and just 2 weeks after I graduated college!) on January 2, 2010 in Williamsburg, VA - which ended up being the absolute coldest, but also most beautiful winter day.

And as beautiful as it was, we wish we had more than just our (amazing!) photos to help us relive that day. We know all of our family and best friends were there, we did a first look, wrote our own vows, and the dance floor was packed all night! But to this day we still regret not having a wedding film to be able to hear and feel those moments again from our wedding. To be able to visually remember, experience and relive all of the emotions through sound and movement. That is why wedding films are so special. And that is why we do what we do - to give our couples this cherished keepsake that they can relive, will always remember and never forget (or regret!)

Capturing our own memories, adventures and family keepsakes

Our passion for storytelling has also encouraged us to preserve the memories of our own travels, adventures and special family moments. Knowing that time goes by so fast, we want to be able to remember and soak up all the fun (and sun!) we can during this chapter of our lives.
